Prevention Action Tip

There are diseases that can damage a brain. So let us first get involved with the challenge of stopping the transmission of disease.

WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN and put peer pressure on your family members and others to also wash their hands frequently.

Make certain YOU ARE IMMUNE to the diseases which have the potential to damage a brain. There are proven vaccines available which can stop the transmission of many of these disease types. Your challenge is to stop YOU from transmitting any one of these diseases to others in your family, or to your circle of friends. Do this by making certain that you, your family, and your friends have been vaccinated for and are immune to MMR, DPT, Hib, (and Hepatitis).
